The National Geographic has listed the Hotel Keycard as one of the brilliant inventions that has transformed travel today….

The first programmable keycard, the VingCard, was invented by Tor Sørnes working for the company Ving. Read more about the story that led to the development of today’s Mag-Stripe and RFID Keycards.
