It is conveniently located a few minutes drive from Lagos International Airport and the Domestic Airport, to connect guests to other parts of Nigeria.

Challenge
As a newly built property, the Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja wanted to create the most technologically advanced and secure hotel environment in Lagos, whilst also ensuring that guests experience the same security and peace of mind they have come to expect when staying at any Marriott owned property. Considering the high standards associated with the Marriott brand name, hotel management also needed to bear in mind Marriott’s requirements for the implementation of cutting-edge security access solutions.

Solution
Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja’s team chose to install ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions VingCard Essence RFID BLE door locks, along with its VisiOnline online locking solution.
This combination offers the ability for guests to have their digital room key delivered to their mobile phone in place of a traditional keycard. It also gives management and staff full control over hotel monitoring and security from one central location and allows monitoring and control of who has guestroom access and when it is given. This provides the hotel with added security functions, enabling them to have a real-time view of all lock activity within the property to help avoid breaches and quickly address any security-related events.
