Afro Exports Ltd History
Afro Exports Ltd, based in the UK, was established originally in 1983. It achieved an excellent reputation as a reliable, trustworthy supplier of goods. With this impeccable reputation it was able to expand into the hospitality industry through installation and servicing of superior quality safes and door locks. Installations began in The Gambia and soon spread through East and West Africa. Over the last 20 years Afro Exports has become East and West Africa's largest supplier of guest room security equipment.

VingCard's parent company, TrioVing, began making high quality locks in 1864.
During the 1970's, TrioVing recognised the hotel industry's need for more effective and efficient hotel locking systems. With this in mind, the company developed a solution and in 1979 produced the world's first recodable VingCard lock. This completely revolutionised hotel security and electronic locking systems. Since then the company has been awarded more than 60 patents. Today VingCard manufactures and supplies top of the range, innovative hardware and software products. VingCard's determination and ability to create, innovate and use advanced technology are the foundations of its ability to continue setting standards for the hospitality industry.

Elsafe
In 1979, Elsafe revolutionised the hospitality industry when it invented the world's first electronic in-room safe. Since then, Elsafe has continued to develop stronger anti-theft features. These features have been acknowledged by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) , the world's most recognised and respected product testing organisation. In 2001, Elsafe became the first electronic safe manufacturer in the world to successfully pass the stringent UL anti-theft test, gaining a coveted UL-rating for the Infinity series of safes.
